The" Competition Commission Of India " (CCI) is a statutory body within the Ministry Of Corporate Affairs and it take responsibility for enforcing the Competition Act, 2002 . The Competition Act, 2002 replace the Monopolies and Restrictive Trade Practices Act, 1969 (MRTP Act). The competition act prohibits anti- competition activities, which effect the healthy competition environment in Indian economy. This act was brought so that the economic development can take place in the country and to prevent all anti-competition trade practices.
